Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear.                Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.                Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!                Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his height?                If then you aren't able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest?                Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.                But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?                Don't seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious.                For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things.                But seek God's Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.

Love One Another!

“Do not be fooled by those who see you as just another consumer in a market of undifferentiated possibilities, where choice itself becomes the good, novelty usurps beauty, and subjective experience displaces truth.” So said the Holy Father, Benedict XVI, during World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia. “Christ offers more!” he added. “Indeed he offers everything! Only he who is the Truth can be the Way and hence also the Life. Thus the ‘way,’ which the Apostles brought to the ends of the earth, is life in Christ. This is the life of the Church.”

The following are excerpts from letters sent to us by who have entrusted their lives of Jesus by joining the Movement of Pure Hearts (MPH):

Art:

“I decided to have done with parties, alcohol, and impurity. All this, I felt, was doing me great harm. But masturbation was the one thing I was unable conquer. My struggle seemed hopeless, for the habit seemed too strong….I realized I had to join MPH and that Jesus wanted me to be pure, just as I wanted it myself. Now I am swimming against the current like you, and He is giving me the strength. Since I made my decision, I have been attending morning Mass and receiving Communion as often as I can. I have never felt so free and joyful. I am seriously considering joining the priesthood. I wish to offer up my whole life for Him. I know I can trust Him to the end. ‘Jesus, I trust in You!’”

Adam:

“Now that I am in jail, I realize God is the most important Person in my life. It was not always so. Now I want to fight my weaknesses and addictions. I am chaste. I do not drink or take drugs. I do not want to go back to my old way of life, for those addictions destroyed my early years. Under their influence I did many evil things. Today I entrust my whole heart to the Lord.”

Viola:

For a long time I lived in the sin of impurity. After reading your magazine, I decided to offer up my whole life to Jesus. Now I live a pure life. I plan to abstain from sex until I am married or to the end of my life, if such is God’s will for me. Despite the many temptations, I remain chaste only thanks to an absolute trust in Jesus. From frequent Holy Communion I draw the strength to fight off these temptations. Ever since I joined MPH, I have been able to speak with Jesus about everything. I thank and ask Him for things. I love to adore the Blessed Sacrament and do so every time I am in church. I thank Him for not leaving us and for being always present in the tabernacle. I thank Him for granting me a new life, even though I have wounded Him so much.”

Cathy:

“Christ showed me the way, and I believe in Him. I believe in Love. The loving Father raised me from the sin of impurity. He showed me He loved me dearly and that He would not abandon me, but rather help me and purify my heart to the very core. When I joined MPH, I felt I had made one of the most beautiful and important decisions of my life. I immersed myself totally in God’s mercy. I urge everyone to put their trust in Jesus and stay close to Him.”
