Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you                Pray without ceasing                For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you                And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him                Through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God                Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven                Verily I say unto you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven                It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God

Love One Another!

Below is the third installment of Christ’s message imparted to a Rumanian nun during the communist persecutions. The full message, published in French, aroused the lively interest of Cardinal James Robert Knox, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments in 1974-1981. LOA enjoys the publishing rights to the Polish and English translations.

Jesus in the Eucharist

“I, the Word, I, the Truth, call God ‘Love,’ recalling those most moving and comprehensible words of my beloved apostle John –‘God is love.’ Thus whoever does not love does not know God! And conversely, since love flows from God, whoever loves is “begotten of God” (cf. 1 Jn 4: 7-8). The Gospels and the Eucharist always underscore the Father’s love for me, and mine for the Father. The Eucharist is the most manifest proof of the God’s love for men. I desire that you should love me too, and the Father through me, in that same spirit of love which exists between the Father and the Son. Whoever loves me in the Eucharist loves my Father and we shall come to Him and abide in Him (cf. Jn 14: 23). Only the mystery of love will enable you to understand and know that God is love. How can you love me as you ought — love me, infinitely great as I am, love me infinitely, when your heart is so small? You must love me in the Eucharist with my own love. Love the Father with my Heart!

“I give you the spirit of love, which abides in my Heart. This is how you love me with my own and my Father’s love. In order to offer the Blessed Trinity — which is love without end — the love that is owed It, offer me and my infinite Eucharistic love as a sacrifice to It.

“Give me your heart. I will enclose it in my divine Heart and give you a share in the power of my unutterable love. In this way you will love my Father and me with my own love. In this way my prayer to the Father will be fulfilled: ‘Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am they also may be with me […] that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in them’ (Jn 17: 24, 26).

“Through the Immaculate Heart of the Mother of Love unite yourself with my Eucharistic Heart, which flows with the blood of love. Love others with my boundless love. Be ready to shed your own heart’s blood for them, even as my Mother’s heart suffers with mine. Unite yourself with the love of the whole Church, with the love of my Vicar, with all the bishops and priests, all those consecrated to me by holy vows, all the faithful, all the angels, all the intelligent and loving beings of the universe. Love me with your heart’s love, with the unquenched fire of my Heart. Love sinners, for they too should to come to love me. Offer me also mankind’s transitory love, that I may raise it to the heights of eternal love.

“Offer me likewise everything in the world that draws the hearts of men. I shall charge everything with the power of God’s love, with the power of self-sacrifice, in union with the God of love, and with eternal happiness. Through my Eucharistic love I have transformed even you. I give you peace of soul. I satisfy your desire for fellowship, love, and limitless self-giving.

“Whoever desires it, let him come to me hidden as I am in the Eucharist, and let him drink! I came to bring fire to the earth through the Eucharist that gushes blood. I want earth to burst into flames. As the Father loves me, so I love you. Abide in my love.”

The adoring soul

O God of love in the Eucharist, I love you with your own love and, through you, I love the Father! God so loved the world that He gave up His beloved Son for us. You created us out of love. You became flesh out of love for us. You humbled yourself and lived among us out of love. You gave us the Gospel and your life out of love. You allowed yourself to be crucified, to die on the cross for us out of love. You do all things out of love. In the inexpressible heat of your love you gave us yourself in the Eucharist so as to quench our thirst for love and, above all, to teach and enable us to love the Father and the Blessed Trinity, which is eternal fire and the source of love.

Jesus, I love you in the Eucharist, which overflows with blood by virtue of your infinite love, which surpasses man’s understanding. I love you with the love of your own Heart. I love you with the Holy Spirit of love — the Spirit out of which the Eucharist sprang like a fountain.

In this love I unite myself with the Immaculate Heart of my Mother, which blazes with the heavenly fire of your love. I unite myself with the entire Church, your faithful bride, with the Holy Father, with all your faithful bishops and priests and all the beings of the universe that are able to love.

I love you also on behalf of sinners who do not love you, on behalf of your enemies who despise you and despise the Father. I love you on behalf of those who do not love you.

I wish to lose myself in your love, that all may come to know and love you. In a special way I unite myself with my brothers and sisters in the Work of Adoration, that all may burn with your Eucharistic love.

Through you, Merciful Jesus, sweet Savior present in the Eucharist, I wish to love the Father, the Trinity of love, to love with a love without limit. Father, whom the Son loves, I love you with the Holy Spirit of your eternal love, which abides in the Eucharistic Heart of your beloved Son. I love you in union with the Heart of your heavenly Mother, with your Church, and with all the people of the earth.

Thy kingdom come. May the kingdom of your love come. May it come to the whole world through the love of the Eucharist, which all men shall enjoy.

Sweet Mother of Eucharistic love, unite me with your loving Heart and teach me to love the Eucharistic Jesus, and, through him, to love the Father, to sing with joy and taste the sweetness of the heart that is in love with eternal Love! Grant that my entire being, my entire life, may shed the Eucharistic fragrance of Jesus on God and His people. Holy Mother, make of me and my soul an oasis of adoring love, an offering of unceasing adoration, a perfectly contemplating soul patterned on your love, O Mother of love, Mother of Mercy, Mother of consecrated souls and all those who call you Mother.

I love God above all things. I love with you, through you, and with all your love. I pray that He take pity on mankind and set aflame the love of those whose love is for fleeting things. Mother, have mercy on us all!

Jesus in the Eucharist

“I am Love. I am the Conduit and the Revelation of the Father’s love for all men, but also for man’s love for the Father — for the Trinity of love. I became true man to restore the hearts of men to God: ‘God so loved the world, that He sent down his only Son.’

“God is an enduring fire of Love, and I came to cast this fire on the earth. All I desire is that it set hearts ablaze and burn within and among my people.

“Just as I am eternally united to the Father through the Spirit of love, so I desire to unite all men with the Father with that same eternal love.

“‘I in them and you in me, that they may be brought to perfection as one, that the world may know that you sent me, and that you loved them even as you loved me. Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am they also may be with me, that they may see my glory that you gave me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, the world also does not know you, but I know you, and they know that you sent me. I made known to them your name and I will make it known that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in them.’ Thus did I pray for the apostles to the Father. And thus, in the Eucharist and in heaven, do I ceaselessly pray to Him for all men.

“I have made of my Eucharist a sacrifice and a sacrament of love that the world may know that I love the Father and that I do as the Father has commanded me. But I do this also to unite all men in my love for the Father and mankind.

“The Eucharist is the commandment and supreme expression of All-Embracing Love. This Love embraces heaven and earth, God and man. My Father loves him who loves me in the Eucharist.

“The Eucharist must be properly understood. Many souls embrace it with sentimental piety, considering only my human love for their person. And even if they do give consideration to my divine love which loves all men they do not conclude from this that they are to do likewise: ‘As my Father loved me, so do I love you. Abide in my love.’

“Do not forget! Here is my commandment: ‘Love one another as I have loved you!’ This means that you are to love with my love, even offering up your life for your neighbor.

“The Eucharist gives and demands supernatural love for God and all men, even for your enemies.

Love me in the Eucharist with my love with the Mother of Love, with the Church, all mankind, heaven, earth, and the entire universe. In union with my Heavenly Mother and the whole Church unite yourself with me in my love for the Father and offer me up to Him as the supreme love for all men and the entire universe. In union with my Mother and the Church unite yourself with me in my love for all souls and love your neighbor with a heroic love, one that is substantial and not merely sentimental.”

Prayer of the adoring soul

Jesus, my Divine Love in the Eucharist, I love you with your love. Lord of all being and life, through you I love the Father, and in union with your Mother, the Church, and all people, I love the Trinity of Eternal Love. With your love I truly wish to love all men. My soul sings to you of her love:

“Jesus, my pure Love, by your very nature you are Love.

Come down with your Heavenly Father among your people,

so as to make of them friends and not slaves.

You are my Love and my All.

You light the Altar and Tabernacle with your Divine Flame,

which unites me with you, the Father, and the whole Trinity.

O Holy Sacrament, seize and set me ablaze with your love,

so that I may divine my fellow men, the universe, every atom.

In union with your Mother I entrust myself to you,

so that mankind may rise from the dead.

May the Church make it burn with your fire and not perish.”
